​Adjustment Service Company*

​Application Fee

​$400 per licensed location.  The fee consists of a $200 license fee and a $200 non-refundable investigation fee.

​Renewal Fee

​$200 per licensed location per year. 

If the renewal fee is paid after the due date, a $100 non-refundable reinstatement fee per licensed location will also be assessed.  The reinstatement period closes on the last day of February each year.

Relocation Fee​$200 ​if relocating to a different city, village or town.​
​Collection Agency*
​Application Fee

​$1,200 for company license and $200 for each branch location. The $1,200 fee consists of a $200 license fee and a $1,000 non-refundable investigation fee.

​Renewal Fee
​$200 per licensed location per year.

If the renewal fee is paid after the due date, a $100 non-refundable reinstatement fee per licensed location will also be assessed.  The reinstatement period closes on the last day of February each year.

​Community Currency Exchange*
​Application Fee
​$600 per licensed location.  The fee consists of a $300 license fee and a $300 non-refundable investigation fee.
​Renewal Fee
​$300 per licensed location per year.

​Credit Service Organization

​$100 every two years (non-refundable).  All registrations expire on December 1st of each even-numbered year.
​Earned Wage Access Services Provider*

​Insurance Premium Finance Company*

​$800.  The fee consists of a $500 license fee and a $300 non-refundable investigation fee.

​Loan Company*
​Application Fee
$800 per licensed location.  The fee consists of a $500 license fee and a $300 non-refundable investigation fee.

​Motor Vehicle Dealer
​Application Fee
​$20 if all vehicles are sold on a cash basis.  $100 if the dealer finances vehicles.
​Renewal Fee
​$20 every other year if all vehicles are sold on a cash basis. $100 every other year if the dealer finances vehicles.
Note: If the dealership retains more than $100,000/year of contracts or leases, then the dealership falls under the rules of a sales finance company.

​Money Transmitter (formerly known as Seller of Checks)*
​Application Fee
​$800 plus $5 for each location in the state where checks are sold (maximum $1,500).  The fee consists of a $500 license fee and a $300 non-refundable investigation fee.
​Renewal Fee
​$500 per year plus $5 for each location in the state where checks are sold (maximum $1,500).

If the renewal fee is paid after the due date, a $100 non-refundable reinstatement fee will also be assessed.  The reinstatement period closes on the last day of February each year.
​Payday Lender*
​Application Fee
$800 per licensed location.  The fee consists of a $500 license fee and a $300 non-refundable investigation fee.
​Renewal Fee
$500 per licensed location per year.

​Sales Finance Company*
​Application Fee
​$350.  The fee consists of a $50 license fee and a $300 non-refundable investigation fee.
​Renewal Fee
​$50 per year on gross volume of $100,000 or less, plus $15 on each $100,000 or part of $100,000 over $100,000.  Use our renewal fee calculator for amounts over $500,000.
