RE: NCUA RESOURCE
The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) recently introduced the Office of Credit Union Resources and Expansion (CURE). Their mission is to support credit union growth and development. CURE provides access to online training and resources, grants and loans, and has a program for minority institutions.
The Learning Management Service, provided to credit unions at no cost, offers training and education in:
- How the credit union system works,
- How credit unions are governed,
- Credit union operations,
- Products and services, and
- Building community partnerships.
CURE also provides a variety of written publications including guidebooks, strategy guides and implementation guides.
CURE is a great resource for all credit unions and boards of directors. I encourage Wisconsin credit unions to look at and utilize the resources. Additional information can be found at
