The Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions (DFI) has the following administrative rules in promulgation.
1. Proposed rule affecting state-chartered credit unions relating to correcting out-of-date cross-references, repealing obsolete provisions, modifying the structure of existing rules to conform to current drafting practices, and revising the definition of “member business loan” to conform to federal law.

2. Proposed rule related to authorizing one or more additional fee structures and establishing maximum fees or charges that may be made thereunder by adjustment service companies; modifying chapter DFI-Bkg 73 to incorporate certain requirements of the federal Telemarketing Sales Rule.

3. Proposed rule affecting the college savings program by eliminating obsolete provisions, correcting cross-references, eliminating rules that are redundant with statutes, correcting errors, and modifying the structure of existing rules in nonsubstantive ways.
4. Proposed rule affecting the DFI’s Division of Securities relating to extending the validity of qualification exams if certain conditions are met, creating a registration exemption for certain merger and acquisition brokers, correcting cross-references, eliminating obsolete provisions, correcting errors, and modifying the structure of existing rules in nonsubstantive ways to improve clarity and meet current drafting standards.
