Proposed Rules

​​The Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions (DFI) has the following administrative rules in promulgation.

  1. Proposed rule to repeal and recreate chapter DFI-CU 72.02 relating to state-chartered credit union member business loans.

  2. Proposed rule regarding the use of the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System and Registry by state-licensed adjustment service companies, payday lenders, sales finance companies, and sellers of checks.

  3. ​​Proposed rule regarding the elimination of rules made obsolete or redundant by 2021 Wisconsin Act 258, and various updates to uniform commercial code rules.

  4. Proposed rule regarding authorizing the use of mobile and intermittent branches by state banks, eliminating obsolete provisions, correcting cross-references, eliminating rules that conflict with statutes, correcting errors, modifying the structure of existing rules in nonsubstantive ways, and clarifying rules governing collection agencies.
